Pastiche Band are a London based jazz band for hire. Pastiche Band are available for hire for weddings, parties or corporate functions. Pastiche band can vary the size of the ensemble to suit the occasion and the budget.

Pastiche Live Jazz Band can be:

• a duo: piano and guitar

• a trio; piano, guitar/male vocal and female vocal.

• A bigger band: piano, guitar/male vocal, female vocal, double bass, drums and any combination of horns.

Pastiche Band play cool, melodic dinner jazz and songs from the Great American Songbook. The Great American Songbook comprises standard songs from the 1920s to 1950s. Notable songs are by composers such as George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers and Irving Berlin.

Pastiche jazz band play popular songs like Summertime, Autumn Leaves, Cheek to Cheek, Everytime We Say Good-bye, My Baby Just Cares for Me, My Funny Valentine, They Can’t Take That Away From Me, What a Wonderful World, We Have All the Time in the World. Ella Fitzgerald and Eva Cassidy to Louis Armstrong and Dean Martin.

Pastiche jazz band have been hired to play for weddings,  garden parties and corporate functions in and around London and the South East.

Steve Gregory, saxophone:

Steve Gregory played that legendary sax line on George Michael’s hit Careless Whisper (‘nuff said!) He has also played with Alan Price, The Rolling Stones (on Honky Tonk Woman), Fleetwood Mac, Georgie Fame, Chris Rea, Alison Moyet, Wet Wet Wet and Van Morrison.

Raul D’Olivera, trumpet:

Raul has played with Elton John, The Blues Band, Mica Paris, The Proclaimers, Gary Moore, Joan Armatrading and, Mike Oldfield.

Neil has played with Robbie Williams, David Gray, Kate Bush, Tom Jones, Blur, Waterboys, Jimmy Nail, Deacon Blue…
